Trekked to Gorakshep and rested for one night. Elevation here is at 5200m

Lobuche Summit Push

Altitude : 5943m

2am summit push to Lobuche’s 6119m peak. Pushed to 5,800m and Akke decided to abandon climb due to fatigue from lack of acclimatisation.

This was an impromptu and rushed decision! Return to research centre.

Akke trekked up to Lobuche and stayed at the High Altitude research centre located in higher Lobuche which is 30 minutes further than Lobuche itself.

Trek from Pangboche to Dingboche

Trekking to Everest Basecamp, from the starting point, it has taken about 2 hours or so .

Departure from Kathmandu to Pangboche by Helicopter

Woke up early, packed my bags, had a good breakfast and set off. First stop was Ministry of tourism to sign my permit as I was the leader of 12 people under the permit. Then we were flown by helicopter to Pangboche which is touching 4000m in elevation (3985m). This was to reduce the time it takes to get to Base Camp as we were behind.
